These Casino Supplemental Terms (“Supplemental Terms”) govern your access to and use of the virtual casino features (“Casino”) provided through the Koda Discord bot operated by EdgeFox & Co (d/b/a Koda) (“Koda,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Supplemental Terms are incorporated by reference into, and form part of, the Koda Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Discord Supplemental Terms. By participating in the Casino, you expressly acknowledge and agree to these Supplemental Terms in addition to all other applicable agreements.
I. NATURE OF THE CASINO
1.1 Service Description. The Casino consists of chance-based features including, but not limited to, slots, gamble, heists, robbery, and other mini-games using Koda’s virtual economy. These features simulate gambling-like mechanics solely for entertainment within Discord.
1.2 Entertainment Only. The Casino is for amusement and entertainment purposes only. Virtual currency used in the Casino has no cash value and may not be exchanged for money, goods, or services outside of Koda.
1.3 Ownership. You do not own Casino currency, items, or rewards. All rights remain with us. You are granted a limited, revocable license to use Casino features subject to these Supplemental Terms.
II. VIRTUAL CURRENCY AND VALUE
2.1 No Real-World Value. Virtual coins, tokens, or winnings from the Casino are fictional and cannot be redeemed for cash or any equivalent. They may only be used within Koda’s virtual economy.
2.2 Transfers. Winnings may only be transferred using supported commands (e.g., “pay”). Selling or trading Casino currency outside of Koda is prohibited.
2.3 Premium Currency. Premium currency may be used in the Casino where supported. Premium currency is subject to the same limitations as standard currency and has no monetary value.
III. GAME MECHANICS AND ODDS
3.1 Randomization. All Casino outcomes are determined by randomization algorithms. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, and no strategy will alter odds.
3.2 Slots. Slot reels may include symbols with varying rarity. Unless otherwise specified, the chance of hitting a jackpot or equivalent “grand prize” outcome shall not exceed one percent (1%).
3.3 Gamble Command. The “gamble” command provides a win/loss chance based on configurable odds. Odds are disclosed within the command or its documentation where applicable.
3.4 Heists and Robbery. Features such as “heist” or “rob” simulate collaborative or adversarial mechanics. Success rates vary by participation, buffs, or items but remain chance-based. Users accept the risk of losing currency or items as part of these mechanics.
3.5 Odds Disclosure. We may disclose specific odds for certain games or features. Where not disclosed, odds are considered variable and subject to balancing adjustments.
IV. CASINO BANS AND RESTRICTIONS
4.1 Abuse Prevention. Users who accumulate large winnings or attempt to exploit the Casino may be subject to temporary or permanent Casino bans. Bans may restrict access to Casino commands only, while allowing continued use of other Koda features.
4.2 Ban Triggers. Ban conditions may include, but are not limited to: excessive winnings, abuse of premium effects, or detection of suspicious activity. Ban chances may scale with winnings, with users above certain thresholds automatically banned.
4.3 Ban Effects. During a ban, users may lose recent winnings or associated items. Casino bans are not appealable except at our sole discretion.
V. PREMIUM FEATURES AND EFFECTS
5.1 Premium Access. Premium subscriptions may provide access to Casino enhancements such as higher limits, exclusive games, or cosmetic effects. Premium access does not alter the random nature of outcomes.
5.2 Premium Effects. Items or buffs (such as “Lucky Coin,” “Reel Jammer,” or “House Edge Buster”) may modify odds or outcomes within the Casino. Such effects are applied consistently with their descriptions but do not guarantee winnings.
5.3 Comped Premium. Complimentary or promotional Premium access may include Casino features. Comped access is discretionary, may be revoked at any time, and creates no entitlement.
VI. DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATIONS
6.1 No Warranty. THE CASINO IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
6.2 Limitation of Liability. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE CASINO, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF VIRTUAL CURRENCY, LOSS OF ITEMS, OR FAILURE TO WIN REWARDS.
6.3 Balance Adjustments. We reserve the right to modify odds, payouts, item effects, or features within the Casino at any time for balance, fairness, or technical reasons. We disclaim liability for any losses perceived as resulting from such changes.
VII. TERMINATION OF ACCESS
7.1 By Us. We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Casino for any user or server that violates these Supplemental Terms, our Terms of Service, Discord’s rules, or applicable law.
7.2 By You. You may discontinue participation in the Casino at any time. Discontinuation does not entitle you to a refund or conversion of currency or items.
7.3 Survival. Provisions relating to disclaimers, limitations of liability, and data handling shall survive termination of Casino access.
VIII. GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE
8.1 Governing Law. These Supplemental Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law principles.
8.2 Jurisdiction. Any dispute arising under or relating to these Supplemental Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wyoming.
